Ultimate Easter Bark

Ultimate Easter Bark

First of all, I hope you are having a nice Easter break! I am getting better, but I have been ill since Monday, which sucks. However, I’m having fun and enjoying my “free” time. I’ve been looking for some Easter recipes but I wanted something quite easy to be honest. For this reason, I thought I could make an Easter bark, which checks all the boxes, as it has loads of chocolate, it’s easy and absolutely delicious. The results, in my opinion, could have been better aesthetically, but I don’t really care because I am in love with it. In case you didn’t know, this recipe is not healthy at all, but we’re allowed to cheat these days, aren’t we?

I am not going to divide the post as I normally do with recipes because, again, this recipe could not be easier. You will basically need 300g of milk chocolate, some white chocolate (I used 150g but it was a bit too much) and all the treats that you love. I used Oreos, M&Ms, KitKat and Kinder Bueno. Just the basics, you know! I would have loved to add mini eggs but, unfortunately, they are not available in Spain… Well, you can find some Cadbury products in certain shops, but they are not that easy to find.

Once you have all the ingredients, it is time to line a baking tray with some baking parchment. Then, melt the milk chocolate. You can do it in a bowl on a pan with simmering water or microwave it. If you choose the latter, stir it every 30 seconds, otherwise, the chocolate will burn. Spread the melted chocolate onto the tray. Now it’s time to do the same with the white chocolate, but save some for later, Then marble the chocolates using a skewer. I actually added too much white chocolate, which is why it didn’t turn out as good. Once you have this ready, chop all the toppings into smaller pieces and add them on top. The more, the better! After that, using a piping bag or a spoon, drizzle the rest of the white chocolate over the bark. Finally, put it in the fridge to set and, once it is ready, cut it into chunks.

It is very easy, isn’t it? Be careful though, you can end up eating it all in a few seconds. You should make it at home with all the treats that you probably have in your cupboards now. If you do, send me some pictures, because I love seeing what you do. I hope you liked the post. Also, I am planning a lot of posts, so make sure to let me know in the comments if you would like me to write about something in specific. I am sure you have amazing ideas, which could be very interesting for me and my blog.
