Buying presents for other people is something that I have always liked because it makes that person happy and this makes me happy too. However, sometimes it can be a nightmare to find the right gift for someone. Today I would like to share some bits and pieces I really like and that would be perfect to give to someone as a present on Christmas day. They may not be the best presents ever, but they are really good stocking fillers.
Marble Phone Case
This kind of phone cases are very popular nowadays and all cases are very useful, especially if you are one of those people who loves changing it every single day. I bought the marble case that you can see in the photos from Madotta a while ago and I am very happy with it. It looked really good online when I ordered it and when it first arrived I was a bit disappointed to be honest, as I thought it was too thin and that it looked cheaper than it actually is. However, I was wrong, because the ‘print’ is not actually a print so it does not fade after using it for a long time. Also, it feels very nice when you are holding your phone. I would definitely recommend you getting one of their cases for a friend or family member.
Lush Bath Bombs
Do I really need to say anything about this? Who wouldn’t love a good bath bomb to treat yourself in the bath at night? Lush does a great job with their products, and I love the philosophy of the company. Also, they have a huge selection of limited Christmas-themed products, such as the ones in the photo. I actually bought these as a present, so hopefully she won’t read this post. I picked up Shoot For The Stars, which is the blue one, and Father Christmas, which is obviously the other one. I think they are very cute and OMG their smell is just amazing. I am sure you can find the perfect one for each person.
Socks
This may be the most boring present for you, but I always like a nice pair of socks. This may be because I am becoming an adult, but they are that kind of thing that we normally forget to buy and it’s nice when someone gives them to us, if you know what I mean. There are so many different patterns and colours to choose, but if you go for the basics or the Christmassy ones you’ll definitely get it right. The ones in the photos are from H&M, but Zara and Topman also have a great selection. You can also check out Happy Socks or even on Asos.
A Mug
This may also be a boring gift but I am a big fan of mugs, maybe because I am addicted to tea. I feel like most people would love to get a mug, though, and there are lots of different ones to choose. The one I am showing you today is probably my favourite kind of mug. I bought it in Zürich this summer and I have been using it a lot since then. These mugs are very trendy these days to be honest, so you can find them almost anywhere. However, you need to be careful, because most of them can be easily damaged so try to find a good one so that it can last longer.
Closed on Mondays Matte Paste
As I mention in a previous post (here), this is my favourite hair product. I love using it because it gives me the matte finish I always look for and also the kind of hold that I need so that my hair can stay up almost all day long. For this reason, I think this product can be a great gift for any man, as long as it works well on his hair of course.
Scaramousche+Fandango Wash Bag
I was sent this back a while ago by Scaramousche+Fandango and since then I have used it a lot. Personally, I think it has the best size ever, as I can fit everything I need, but it’s smaller than other wash bags I’ve used in the past. I love the design too, as it is quite minimal and I am really into that at the moment. Moreover, who wouldn’t like a nice wash bag? They are very useful, especially if you travel a lot. You can even fill it with some products you like and you’ll have an amazing present.
Joosr
This is actually one of the weirdest gifts I am going to recommend you, but I really feel it is very cool. Sometimes we don’t read some books because we don’t have enough time, as normally we are all very busy. I am not talking about novels, but about those books that we use to learn something new. What if we could read a well-written summary of it instead? Well, Joosr gives us that. It is a service by which we pay an annual subscription and we have access to all their summaries that can be read in about 20 minutes. I have read some and I must admit that, even though you don’t get all the details, you can really learn very interesting things. It is also great because you can buy it for yourself or give it to someone as a present, and you don’t need to get the package, so it’s perfect for last minute Christmas shopping too. You can subscribe here, and remember to use the code XMAS when you check out, as it will be much cheaper if you do so, as it will only cost you £9.95!
I hope you liked this quite random Christmas gift guide. I just wanted to share with you some of my favourite products so that you can get inspired if you still don’t know what to buy for someone. You should hurry up though, as there are only five days left until Christmas. Where has time gone?! I really hate that because I get so excited waiting for Christmas time and then I can’t even enjoy it as much as I would love to. Oh, comment down below any other product you would recommend, as other people may find it useful.
