New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016! I am very excited about the new year, though 2015 has been the best year of my life so far. I’ve done many exciting things such as living in England for a month or starting my first year at college. Despite it’s been such an amazing year, I want 2016 to be at least as good as 2015. This is reason why I want to set some new goals.

Drink more water

As I mentioned in my last post, I forget about drinking water too frequently. So I’ll try my best to be more hydrated this year.

Eat healthier

I have eaten too much junk food this year, especially during Christmas. I think it is time to have a healthier lifestyle. It is something very important, because you always have to take care of your body. Not only because you’ll look better, but because your health matters.

Do more exercise

For the same reason as above, I need to move more! I don’t want to be a couch potato anymore, so I’ll have to change my lifestyle.

Learn to drive

I am not really interested in having a car because I think I’m okay with public transport. The thing is that, sometimes, it would be better to have my own car, so I really need to take some driving lessons.

Be more organised

I used to be a mess. Being organised has never been a thing to me. I am doing quite well nowadays, though. I have all I need to do written down on a diary and on a calendar, but I know I can be better at this.

Travelling is one of the best things in life. It helps you discover new places, new cultures and also new people and ways of thinking. I absolutely love it. My aim for this year is to visit a place different from Barcelona. I would also love to spend my summer in England again, because I really enjoyed it and also learnt a lot.

Learn a new language

Languages are a bit similar to travelling in the sense that it can introduce you to new ways of thinking, to new people and to new cultures. I already speak Catalan, Spanish and English. I can also speak a bit of French and a few words in German. Despite that, I would like to improve my German or start learning a whole new language such as Japanese or Russian, which I find really interesting.

Meet more people

I already have great friends, but I want to meet more people because you can always discover new things and also share very nice moment with them. Who knows, maybe I can find the love of my life, too!

Be more talkative

I have to admit it, I am a bit shy. Sometimes it is not shyness that keeps me quiet, but the fact that I love listening to other people. I think that is not a bad habit, I would really like to express my opinions more often.

Read more books

I LOVE reading. It is one of my favourite activities since I was a little child. The problem is that sometimes I am very tired or I don’t have a lot of time, and forget about reading. As I really enjoy it, I have decided to read more. I have even started a Twitter account and an Instagram account to share my thoughts about what I’ll be reading from now on.

I hope you have a happy 2016! Enjoy it with the people you love. The most important thing is to BE HAPPY, remember that!
