Travel Memories

I have just finished my exams, so I am planning many things to relax and have fun! I’d also love to travel anywhere in the world these days, but as I cannot do so, I decided to have a look at my travel memories. Whilst I was looking at them all, I realized that I should put them all together. And that was what I did, I remembered I had a photo album that is like a letter and I simply filled it. It took me a lot of time to get through all the things I have been collecting from the place I have visited, although I loved to do so.

I did not want it to be full of pictures. I wanted it to be a little bit different from the other albums I have, so I decided that I would only stick train tickets, receipts, boarding passes and all this kind of stuff! It is very cool because you can see the exact date and time you where there.

I haven’t added the memories in any particular order, I have only grouped them depending on the place they are from. I also realized that although I am 18 I have been to quite a few places! In fact, I have been to London quite a few times. Around the UK I’ve visited Oxford and Windsor (I can’t believe I lived there on my own for a month to be honest!). I have also been to Italy, which was my first time abroad, and I have very sweet memories about it.

Other places I’ve been to are Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen and Norway, which is the one that I will always remember. Norway is extremely beautiful and I totally recommend you to visit it at least once. I also have very good memories about France. I have been there twice – to Toulouse and to Montpellier. I went on an exchange programme for a week each time and I had a lot of fun.

Apart from these countries I have also visited a few places around Spain, such as Asturias, Tenerife, Mallorca, Zaragoza, Madrid and Granada. My favourite city is Granada, I think. It is absolutely gorgeous, especially the Alhambra.

This album matches really well with one of my Christmas gifts. My mum and dad gave me a Scratch Map as a gift because they know how much I love travelling. I still need to scratch all the places I have mentioned and also frame it, but I am already in love with it and I can’t wait to have it all scratched – it is almost impossible but you never know!

I hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to know where have you been. I would also love you to recommend me any place you loved for my next trip!

This Scratch Map is so cool! 😀 you went to a lot of different places, I wish I did the same thing sooner! I need to take my backpack and buy a flight ticket to somewhere! I went to London twice and Brighton and Horsham on a school trip, which was really nice. I went in Belgium twice last year! In Spain 3 years ago now and my family and I are planning a little trip to Amsterdam this year!

The map is really cool, I loved it! You’ve also been to quite a few places! I also want to go to Amsterdam, it is gorgeous! But I’m pretty obsessed with Munich, mainly because it is relatively near to Neuschwanstein Castle, which I definitely have to visit someday x

Wow, you travel a lot! I love travelling, it is one of the greatest things I have ever done. I’d love a scratch map or colour in map to mark the places I’ve been and go.

I recommend you to visit Sweeden, I’ve been once and I enjoyed it so much there. Maybe it’s similar to Norway (I’m just talking about it after seeing some photos), but somehow it’s definitely different. I could even show you photos about it haha.

That would be amazing, maybe we could go together! Hahah although we would need a lot of money!

      • February 13, 2016 / 1:44 am

I don’t remember if it was expensive or not, but maybe it is haha. I have another places to visit before going again to places I’ve been, but if I get rich we can definitely go!
