I have just finished my exams, so I am planning many things to relax and have fun! I’d also love to travel anywhere in the world these days, but as I cannot do so, I decided to have a look at my travel memories. Whilst I was looking at them all, I realized that I should put them all together. And that was what I did, I remembered I had a photo album that is like a letter and I simply filled it. It took me a lot of time to get through all the things I have been collecting from the place I have visited, although I loved to do so.
I did not want it to be full of pictures. I wanted it to be a little bit different from the other albums I have, so I decided that I would only stick train tickets, receipts, boarding passes and all this kind of stuff! It is very cool because you can see the exact date and time you where there.
I haven’t added the memories in any particular order, I have only grouped them depending on the place they are from. I also realized that although I am 18 I have been to quite a few places! In fact, I have been to London quite a few times. Around the UK I’ve visited Oxford and Windsor (I can’t believe I lived there on my own for a month to be honest!). I have also been to Italy, which was my first time abroad, and I have very sweet memories about it.
Other places I’ve been to are Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen and Norway, which is the one that I will always remember. Norway is extremely beautiful and I totally recommend you to visit it at least once. I also have very good memories about France. I have been there twice – to Toulouse and to Montpellier. I went on an exchange programme for a week each time and I had a lot of fun.
Apart from these countries I have also visited a few places around Spain, such as Asturias, Tenerife, Mallorca, Zaragoza, Madrid and Granada. My favourite city is Granada, I think. It is absolutely gorgeous, especially the Alhambra.
This album matches really well with one of my Christmas gifts. My mum and dad gave me a Scratch Map as a gift because they know how much I love travelling. I still need to scratch all the places I have mentioned and also frame it, but I am already in love with it and I can’t wait to have it all scratched – it is almost impossible but you never know!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to know where have you been. I would also love you to recommend me any place you loved for my next trip!
