Being hydrated is VERY important if we want to be healthy. The problem is that sometimes we can just forget about it because we are busy or just because we don’t remember to have a drink frequently. This is something that happens to me a lot, and then I feel really tired or even have headaches.
Recently, Zoella mentioned an app that could help with this problem in one of her vlogs. As soon as I saw it, I decided to download the app to try it. Its name is My Water Balance and it has been developed by Viktor Sharov. At first, I wasn’t sure about it because I thought it was going to be one of those apps that you download, use for a day and forget, but it was not the case. I’ve used it every day since then.
When you open it, what you see is the percentage of water you’ve drunk out of the amount of it that you should drink during the day. This amount of water is determined by your age, weight and whether you train or not. Moreover, you can have a look at the statistics of how much you have drunk by day and also an overall, which shows you the different drinks you’ve had and how much of each you’ve drunk.
I feel that the app keeps motivating me all the time. In fact, you can get certain awards depending on what you drink or how much you drink. You can also be notified to drink water during the period of time you want. I find that REALLY useful, because it does what I wanted, which is reminding me to drink more. It is also very cool that it has an Apple Watch version for those who own one (unfortunately, it is not my case).
Despite it can be a little bit tedious to add each drink you drink, I think it is a great app, especially if you forget about being hydrated (like me, of course). I totally recommend you to downloaded. Also, as I loved it so much, I sent an email to the developer and he’s sent me some promo codes for free installation for you. You can find them down below. Hurry up, because there are only FIVE! Make sure you are one of the first ones to download the app! If you can’t get a promo code, you can always download it here for 0,99€. Good luck!
