Lost&Found Market

Lost&Found Market

This may not be a very christmassy post, but if there’s something we are constantly doing at Christmas, it is definitely buying presents. A few weeks ago, I discovered that a great second hand market was taking place soon. That is the Lost&Found Market in Barcelona. It is located in Estació de França (one of the main train stations in Barcelona).

I also discovered that they were doing it on December 12 and 13, so I decided to go. I wanted to buy some presents. The first thing I have to say is that I really like the place where they do it, because very close to the station you can find Parc de la Ciutadella, which is a must-visit destination if you ever come to Barcelona.

There is a huge variety of second hand, vintage items. Some of them are pretty amazing and, in my opinion, they are not too expensive, though there are some, let’s say, masterpieces, which can be quite pricy. The majority of products are clothes from other decades that are REALLY cool. I have to say that the majority of them are women clothes, as always happens, even though you can buy some very nice men shirts or coats.

You can also find old toys (I loved quite a few because I used to have them when I was younger haha), vinyl records or more recent CDs and DVDs. I actually bought a film called Amy Winehouse A Last Goodbye. It cost me 4€ (according to the label on it, its original price was 17,99€) and it wasn’t even used. In fact, it still had the plastic on. Amazing, isn’t it?

I was also impressed by the kind of people that went there. I fell in love with the clothes some buyers and also sellers were wearing, they were VERY stylish. I like the atmosphere too. People were very kind I think and I enjoyed my time there A LOT.

I absolutely recommend you to check their website and try to go there next time. They do it four times throughout the year, I think. If you go, I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think about it!

Wow! I didn’t know about this market! Great to hear they ‘open’ 4 times a year. If you get to know their next date, please let me know, because I’ll definitely go 🙂
